DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS A SIGNIFICANT ISSUE IN SOCIETY. THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN ADDRESSING IT IN SOCIETY IS THE CURRENT SOCIAL NARRATIVE THAT WOMEN RE THE VICTIMS AND MEN ARE ALWAYS THE PERFORMERS. THE FACTS SIMPLY DO NOT SUPPORT THIS.
WHILE WE ADVOCATE FOR MEN, THEIR RIGHTS, AND THEIR SUPPORT, OUR GOAL IS TO TAKE A NON-GENDER SPECIFIC APPROACH AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CHALLENGE AS A WHOLE.
WE BELIEVE THAT ALL PARTIES, REGARDLESS OF GENDER, HAVE TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY AND SO THEIR PART IN CONFRONTING THE CHALLENGES OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN SOCIETY FOR THE BETTERMENT OF ALL AFFECTED.
Domestic Violence Circuit Breaker Seminar
For every relationship, even if you think you don't need it.
You won't know your relationship needs it until it's too late
What the current state of the world has shown is that even the most unlikely couples can suffer a domestic violence event. Even if a situation doesn't get to a full-blown incident there is no doubt that damage is done to the relationship, chipping away at its foundations. There are also the people who slip into a pattern of abusive behaviour, whether physical or psychological. In these cases, there is a constant erosion of the relationship.
Rather than take a typical approach by only focusing on dealing with the aftermath, or denigrating men as always the performers, our program takes a unique approach to address the challenges of domestic violence.
Our Domestic Violence program is designed to help couples deal with the precursors to domestic violence incidents, providing them with the tools they need to create their own DV circuit breaker. The goal being to either defuse a potentially volatile situation or breaking patterns of behaviour, by either party.
"How unhappy do you have to get before you do something about it?

Male Victims of Domestic Violence Support Group
Men can be and are victims of domestic violence too.
We operate an online support group to help men who find themselves either at risk of domestic violence or are finding themselves as victims
The current social narrative completely ignores the fact that there are men who are victims of domestic violence. There is also next to no support for men who find themselves in these situations. In fact, men are made to feel alone and to feel, less than a man if he should reach out to authorities or current domestic violence services.
What concerns us, besides the fact that support services for men are few and far between is that men are far less likely to take action than women. They are not encouraged to. We're encouraging you to.
Whether you are finding yourself experiencing either physical or psychological abuse, you owe it to yourself to seek support and help. We keep groups small so interaction is easy. It's a safe place for men to support other men in similar situations. Importantly, this is not just where you'll hear "you'll be right bro". It's a group where you're supported to take actions to improve your life.
Contact us for a private chat about your situation and see how we can maybe be able to help you.
